SAANZ2021 Update: Planning Continues!

Updated: Abstract Submission & Early Bird Registrations Close This Week – September 30th!

With our recent lockdowns, we want to update you re the SAANZ conference arrangements. Most importantly, our planning continues! With the way the lockdowns and vaccine rollout is going, we are very optimistic about being able to hold the SAANZ conference in person from 24th – 26th November at Lincoln University, Christchurch. If it turns out in-person is not possible due to COVID restrictions, we will NOT be moving to an online conference, but rather cancelling the event. This is because feedback from the SAANZ community is that the majority of you are not interested in another online conference; but are keen to connect in person. If a cancellation does become necessary, we will provide all presenters with a letter confirming that their abstract was accepted and they were only unable to present due to COVID restrictions so they can still include the presentation in their CV. We will of course also refund your registration fees in full.
So with that in mind, a reminder of important dates:

It would be appreciated if people could submit their abstracts as soon as possible to assist us in our planning.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at or see the conference website here
Hoping to see you in November!
